Results of the initMIP-Antarctica experiments: an ice sheet initialization intercomparison of ISMIP6 ISMIP6: initMIP-Antarctic team https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.2651652
Short summary
We compare a wide range of Antarctic ice sheet simulations with varying initialization techniques and model parameters to understand the role they play on the projected evolution of this ice sheet under simple scenarios. Results are improved compared to previous assessments and show that continued improvements in the representation of the floating ice around Antarctica are critical to reduce the uncertainty in the future ice sheet contribution to sea level rise.
